Indigogo Launch Campaign Smashes Goal

We here at Third Factor are delighted to announce that we surpassed our magazine launch fundraising goal.  Our campaign at Indiegogo, which closed on September 4, raised 133% of our goal. This means we’ll be able to pay for some artwork, special features, and other one-time expenses.  To all of you who chipped in, thank you!  Chris and Jessie are both tremendously encouraged by this tangible evidence that there’s a community out there that wants this fledgling magazine to succeed.

While we’re at it, we also want to thank our Patreon subscribers, who contribute a small amount each month.  It’s these monthly subscription funds that we hope to draw on to pay contributors for their content.  Though we’re not there yet, we’re well on our way.  If you think we’ve earned it, you can sign up any time at our Patreon site.  (You can also cancel at any time, if you think we ever un-earn it.)  We’re planning to use some of our Indiegogo funds to pay for the tools we need to create Patreon subscriber gifts, so stay tuned for more on that.

In response to your requests, we’ll also install a PayPal one-time donation and subscription feature soon.  We’re in the process of testing it now, and we hope that it goes live before most of you even see this post.

Finally, we also want to thank those of you who are supporting Third Factor in non-monetary ways.  It’s thanks to your social media shares and your forwarding of our email newsletter that we’re growing as fast as we are.  We’re grateful for your kind words, helpful comments, and general good cheer.  We’ll do our best to live up to it!

Thank you again!

Sincerely,
Jessie Mannisto & Chris Wells
